We Sing Justice Community Sing

“If you have a voice, you have a song.”

Join neighbors, friends, and family in another season of Meetinghouse Church’s community sing events. The “We Sing” series will feature renowned song leaders from around Minnesota and beyond as we come together in mind, spirit, and voice through hymns. In conjunction with the Meetinghouse Masterworks performance of Ralph Vaughan Williams’ famous Serenade to Music, We Sing Justice will combine justice-inspired hymns from the Glory to God hymnal with songs from the Justice Choir Songbook, reminding us how music inspires change in the world.

This We Sing event is partly inspired by and in support of the Hallie Q. Brown Community Center, an African American nonprofit social service agency "originally designed as a settlement house for African Americans denied services from other agencies." It has grown to provide a wide range of community support services for the Summit University area of Saint Paul and the greater Twin Cities.

Date: October 16th at 2:00pm
Location: Meetinghouse Church
Cost: Free to the public, free-will offering encouraged
Register: None required
