The Edina Chorale Music Director

Thomas Paulson began his tenure as Music Director/Conductor of the Edina Chorale in 1995. Over the years Paulson has worked with the Chorale board to establish the Edina Chamber Chorale, the highly popular Spring Cabaret Pops, and a growing, auditioned membership base of over 70 voices. Under his leadership the Chamber Chorale has sung for regional and state conventions of the American Choral Directors’ Association, Choral Day at St. Olaf College , and the full chorale for concerts in greater Minnesota including St. Cloud , Austin , Red Wing and Little Falls. Paulson is Director of Music at Wayzata Community Church , directing the Chancel Choir, the Celebration Singers, leading the music department and guest conducting Allegro Sinfonia, WCC orchestra-in-residence. Previously he was Director of Worship and Music at Incarnation Lutheran Church in Shoreview for 13 years, and soloist, Section Leader, and Assistant Conductor of the Bach Society of Minnesota and Sebastian Singers. A published composer and arranger, he holds an MM degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Minnesota and a BA in Music Theory and Composition from St. Olaf College , Northfield.
